Our Mission

We are a community organization that provides opportunities and financial literacy programming to close the racial wealth gap in our communities. We promote sustainable practices that ensure long-term economic stability and social and environmental justice.

We believe empowering BIPOC communities with tools to achieve financial literacy can close the racial wealth gap and promote economic, social, and environmental justice. We envision a future where financial literacy enhances individual economic mobility and promotes the resilience and sustainability of our global society.

Our Pillars of success

Since its start, the Jamaur Law Foundation has been a community organization that provides opportunities and financial literacy programming to close the racial wealth gap in our communities. We promote sustainable practices that ensure long-term economic stability and social and environmental justice.

Economic

The development of jobs, financial success, and accurate accounting of ecosystem services for the best cost-benefit evaluations.

Environmental

This pillar covers the improvement of environmental stresses such as greenhouse gas emissions, air quality, and water quality.

Social

This encompasses environmental justice, human health, resource security, and education.

Our Core Beliefs

These core beliefs guide our mission at the Jamaur Law Foundation, driving our efforts to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable world for everyone.

1. Empowerment & Access

We believe in empowering individuals and communities by ensuring equitable access to financial literacy, education, and opportunities. Everyone, especially BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) individuals, deserves the chance to understand and manage their finances effectively, regardless of their background or circumstances.

2. poverty alleviation

We are committed to alleviating poverty by providing financial literacy support and advocacy for those in need. By addressing systemic barriers and championing economic justice, we strive to create a society where all individuals, particularly those from BIPOC communities, can achieve financial stability and security.

3. community development

We believe in fostering strong, resilient communities through collaboration and support. By working closely with local organizations and stakeholders, we aim to build vibrant communities that offer opportunities for growth, safety, and well-being for all residents, with a special focus on BIPOC communities.

4. entrepreneurship & economic opportunities

We are dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and expanding economic opportunities for underserved populations. By providing financial literacy resources and support, we help individuals, particularly those from BIPOC communities, create and grow small businesses, empowering them to achieve economic independence and success.

5. Environmental justice

We believe in the right to a healthy and sustainable environment for all. Through financial literacy, community engagement, and empowerment, we work to address environmental injustices and ensure that all communities, especially those disproportionately affected and BIPOC communities, can enjoy clean air, water, land, and healthy spaces.
