The Impact of Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is combining financial knowledge with attitudes, skills, and behaviors, which are essential to make a financial decision based on personal circumstances. It helps individuals improve their financial well-being. Undoubtedly, being financially literate will assist in influencing financial decisions. The ability to make financial decisions and improve financial well-being are two important aspects of the definition of financial literacy.
Our Work
The Jamaur Law Foundation aspires to close the wealth gap experienced by all marginalized populations
through financial education and holistic services that supports the whole individual.

FINANCIAL LITERACY The Jamaur Law Foundation’s signature program is our “SMART MONEY” financial literacy training series. During the course, students learn how to gain control of their finances by acquiring knowledge of money management, setting financial goals and tracking expenses, budgeting and saving, credit and compound interest, and credit reports. |
FOOD INSECURITY Understanding the connection between a lack of basic needs and one's ability to focus on life's daily activities, JLF has expanded operations to address food insecurity within the nation's ongoing pandemic. JLF works with local impoverished communities to deliver fresh and healthy food resources to those who need them most. |
YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP JLF works to realize the full potential of all youth participants within our programs and assists them in achieving positive post secondary outcomes. Recognizing the impact of higher education on long-term self- sufficiency, JLF provides youth scholarships to offset college expenses for local area high school seniors. |
SUPPORTING OUR HEROES The COVID-19 pandemic identified the true backbone of our nation - essential workers. As an ongoing display of appreciation for the sacrifice of our nation's medical, teaching, retail, banking, and defense professionals, JLF's will always work to recognize those that allow us to maintain a decent quality of life despite the circumstances around us. |
Testimonials
“I would like to thank you and your foundation, the Jamaur Law Foundation immensely for the priceless amount of financial Information that you provided me and my peers as rising Juniors in high school during our internship.
I have been applying all of this information in my day-to-day life and it has assisted me in getting a 760+ Credit Score in just 2 years with no prior credit history. I opened a Roth IRA at the age of 18 that I consistently contribute to, as well as other brokerage accounts that help me to pay for college, which I pay for. I can not begin to thank you for all the foundational knowledge that you instilled into me during your brief but concise sessions, that I have applied in other aspects of my life such as my small businesses, teaching and assisting people how to match themselves with the right credit card, how to manage a credit card, etc.” Sincerely, Dani Ace Ndagha |
