Our first event of the year, "Glide Into 2023 with Smart Money," was a major success! This past weekend, we collaborated with Spectra Credit Union to host this free event designed to teach underserved youth and young adults about financial literacy concepts like budgeting, checking & savings, the power of credit, and investing. Spectra Credit Union kicked off the event with a generous donation of $2,000 to support the Foundation’s financial literacy programming, and we could not be more grateful! |
First Community Trunk or Treat event! Jamaur Law Foundation partnered with Chick-Fil-A of Brandywine, MD.
On October 29, 2022. Chick-fil-A Brandywine supplied the treats, haybales, pumpkin painting, moonbounce, games, and face painting for the event. In the meantime, we filled up savings jar with candy and gave the adults literature about financial literacy. |

A tradition dating back over 100 years, committed to the inclusivity and representation of every community in metropolitan Washington, DC. On September 25, 2022, The Jamaur Law foundation was one of the three recipients to receive charitable donations from The District Cup. |

Jamaur was to donate hundreds of protective face shields to District Urgent Care workers by way of Sam's Club of Waldorf, Md. These workers tested more than 1,000 patients a week. |
In May 2019, Jamaur partnered with the Prince George's Co Domestic violence and human trafficking division and Jacob's ladder - Men's Challenge, conducted a job development session and a financial literacy course, and finished with a job fair. |
