Jamaur Law Foundation Scholarship ($1,000 Annually)
The Jamaur Law Foundation is excited to announce that we are now offering a $1000 scholarship opportunity to high school students in The District, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The JLF Scholarship is open to students who are graduating in 2023, and we encourage all who qualify to apply!
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be residents of the designated locations where the scholarship is being offered and complete the listed requirements.
The deadline for the scholarship application is May 1st, 2023!
Requirements:
1. A brief essay (1000-word max) that answers one of the following questions:
1. What does generational wealth mean to you? And how do you plan on educating yourself and others to become financially literate?
or
2. What does it mean to be a good student/teammate on the field, in the classroom, and in the community? And how do you plan to give back to your community?
2. A copy of your report card (to be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher)
3. An acceptance letter from a higher education institution (to be eligible, students must be attending a higher education institution)
4. A teacher's recommendation letter
Eligible students in the DMV area (Washington, D.C., Prince George’s County, Charles County, Montgomery County, and Northern VA) should submit all necessary documents to info@jamaurlawfoundation.org no later than 11:59pm (EST) on May 1st, 2023.
